Bug in hotfix cfdocument?

I just installed the hotfix for cfdocument on my Coldfusion 8 server and to my surprise the following does not work anymore, could anybody help??

<cfdocumentitem type="footer">
    <cfif cfdocument.currentpagenumber eq 1>
        Do this only on the first page
    </cfif>
</cfdocumentitem>

I already reported this as a bug but maybe i'm doing it wrong?? This worked pre hotfix....

I used to use a #nPage# to keep track of my page number..
Now even that don't work now.

It seems that Adobe added a new attribute to the cfdocumentitem tag

evalAtPrint="true"

This attribute makes sure that everything will work just fine again, why they added and changed the behavior i don't know.
